According to the current research statistics from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL),in the past 5 years,the price of PV system installation in most US states the median was down year over year,the price of household PV systems were falling $0.2/W every year.Non-household PV systems price were decreasing $0.1~$0.3/W per year.

This servery report is based on the data from the PV system installed by the US in 2021,and the preliminary data in the first half of 2022.

This report also indicated that the US PV storage projects are increasing greatly,10% of the home PV systems and 5% of non-household PV systems were equipped with battery energy storage systems installed in 2021.

In the passed 20 years,the scale of the US household and non-household PV system installation has increased,the median installed capacity of a household PV systems was 7kW, most installed capacity was within 4kw and 10kw;the median installed capacity of non-household PV systems reached 33kW in 2021.

The PV system installation price changed by the time

 The report said that non-household PV system installed capacity also increased, While PV system installed capacity growth has leveled off in recent years, with a median of 33kW in 2021, 20% of PV systems installed more than 150kW in 2021, with an average installed capacity of 255kW.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL)announced that 66 entities and 30 states surveyed in this report,California dominated the US residential PV market by installing 3,000 residential PV systems in 2021.

In the area of residential PV system in 2021,94% PV systems were with Modular Power Electronics (MLPE) products, include micro-inverter and direct current optimizer.81% of non-household PV system adopt MLPE products.
