With the 8th World Solar Energy Transition meeting held in Milan, Italy, European PV Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP PV)devoted themselves in supporting PV industry’s role in European Union Strategic Energy Technology Programme(SET).

Following the publication of the European Commission's landmark EU PV Strategy, the update to the European PV Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP PV) will support policy makers through the technical design and implementation of a decade of European PV regulations.The platform operates through a standing steering committee and specialized working groups composed of industry and academic experts, to offer advice on PV system competitiveness, digitization,industrialization,life cycle quality and integration.

As a reference point for European PV Technology and Innovation Platform(ETIP PV) to innovative in PV industry,the platform cooperates with European community countries PV platforms and trade association to promote PV technology effective adoption.Meanwhile,the platform builds relationship with organizations with similar motives,such as European Union for Energy Research and other ETIP projects.

EU offers help for this platform under the Horizon Europe plan,which will be operated by the Secretariat of Solar Power Europe in Brussels, Belgium and WIP Renewable Energies in Munich, Germany.

The chairman and two Vice -chairman of European PV Technology and Innovation Platform(ETIP PV) will be elected at the next steering committee meeting in Brussels on October10, 2022.  

European PV Technology and Innovation Platform(ETIP PV)is also an exhibitor at Booth WIP (Booth A7) at the 8th World Congress on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion, which will be held at the Milano Convention Center, Milan, Italy, from September 26 to 30, 2022.
